WHS for people who can't afford to pay?
No! Women's Health Services serves anyone who wants personalized, convenient,
high-quality health care. Our goal is to serve those women and our medical team
make Women's Health Services a premiere source of care, skill and compassion.
We accept most insurance plans, a list of which is available at the front desk.
Is
Women's Health Services just for pregnant women?
Women's Health Services provides services for all phases of a woman's life-for
women from 9-90! Our broad range of health care allows every patient to feel confident
in the care given her at Women's Health Services. How
does WHS differ from other providers? We
have excellent providers, an up-to-date facility and state-of-the-art equipment.
We believe two differentiating qualities are our commitment to the highest quality
care and our caring for the whole person. Health
care is not just a business, as it is for some providers -- it is a mission.
We are committed to the whole person. Our providers genuinely care for their
patients and their well being. We understand that occasionally social problems,
relationship problems, stress and other factors affect the physical well being
of our patients. We have qualified staff, from our physicians and nurse practitioners
to our staff nurses who are prepared to listen, teach, and assist in your care.
What's
a nurse practitioner? A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse
(RN) who has advanced education and clinical training in a health care specialty
area, such as women's health or pediatrics. This additional training plus the
successful passing of a national certification exam qualifies the nurse practitioners
at Women's Health Services to provide primary health care consisting of pap smears,
contraception, prenatal care, reproductive health problems and concerns of women
from adolescence through menopause and beyond. Women's Health Services is proud
to have three nurse practitioners, who work in collaboration with and under the
supervision of WHS Medical Director. |
