At Women’s Health & Family Services, we work with you to schedule appointments at a location and time most convenient for you. We strive to get you appointments as quickly as you need to be seen determined by your needs. If you must reschedule your appointment, we ask that you give our office 24 hours notice. We will contact you a day or two prior to your appointment to confirm the date and time.
If you have health insurance, we advise that you check with your insurance carrier before your appointment to verify your coverage and benefits. Many benefit plans have high deductibles or special requirements including:
1. Network providers; make sure Women’s Health & Family Services providers are in your network. You can still be seen at Women’s Health & Family Services if the provider is not in network, however you may be responsible for more of the cost of the services.
2. Deductible and co-pay amounts; see if you have any that may apply to your type of visit.
3. Pre-authorization requirement, if any. If you have a pre-authorization requirement it is important for you and Women’s Health & Family Services to work with your insurance carrier to get approval for your services. One of our staff will help you obtain pre-authorization with your insurance and if needed work out payment arrangements with you for the services.
